Role purpose:

A bit about the role:
We are looking for a motivated, reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative to join our nightshift team.
Reporting to the Technical Manager and working within the Hygiene team, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the production areas and the external areas of the facility to a high standard, including machinery and the surrounding outside areas of the facility, complying with strict hygiene standards at all times.
Being physically capable of manual handling such as carrying and lifting is essential and an unavoidable aspect of the role.
You will be working in a cold environment, all PPE will be provided.
What the role involves:
· Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery
· Completion of hygiene records
· Ensure that all training is adhered to and all required areas are controlled to meet COSHH standards
· Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task as per COSHH
· Other adhoc hygiene related tasks
· Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
· Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
A bit about you:
We are looking for a great team player who an eye for attention to detail to join our Technical team as Hygiene Operative
Candidates applying for this role will have experience of working within the cleaning industry, specifically in a factory setting would be advantageous; however training will be given to ensure you work in a safe and responsible manner, following Health and Safety legislation.
Written and verbal grasp of the English language is essential to ensure successful candidates are able to complete cleaning records.
