About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage the day to day and long term vision of our sales strategy. The Sales Manager is accountable for the targeted sales levels and productivity targets for the depot through the effective leadership of their account managers and Business Development mangers. You will be given autonomy in your role and encouraged to implement new ideas in order to lead your team to success. You will also have a hands on approach and possess the ability to effectively coach your team in order to achieve conversion and sales targets whilst effectively building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our vision of “being every chef’s first choice”.

You’ll have:
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
- Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a Foodservice industry
- Ability to deliver professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
- Customer driven with a collaborative and hands-on approach
- Ability to think and act in a commercial way that makes sustainable profit
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of, our marketplace and the food industry generally
- Relationship and account management to a high level of professionalism and effectiveness
- Challenging, yet Intrepid with the ability to perform effectively in complex and difficult environments
- Team focussed with the ability to achieve success through others
- Key decision maker with regards to winning new business v retention and growth of existing accounts
